Behind the MILK wedding album
Thousands of couples have created their wedding albums with MILK. Behind each one is a beautiful story. We asked newlywed and member of the MILK community Emily Williams for hers.
When did your love story begin?
Field and I met in a karaoke bar in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. I was singing a duet with my best friend and Field came up to me afterward and dropped a corny pick-up line, complimenting me on my performance. We ended up talking for the next three hours and he asked me out that night to go on a date with him the next day! He picked me up to go paddle boarding in his old Jeep that would be the same Jeep we'd have our first kiss in, the same jeep that he proposed to me on 8 months later (see below), and the same jeep that was our getaway car for our wedding!

What was the best moment of your wedding day?
Goodness, there are too many favorite moments to count but if I had to narrow it down I would say sitting in our hotel room after the wedding was all said and done, dress and tux still on, champagne in hand, aching feet finally barefoot, talking over every second of the wedding weekend together. We laughed and cried and thanked God for the gift of it all!

What is your favorite image from your wedding and why?
Awww, I love one of the photos from my dad and I's first look. He's looking away trying to gain some composure and I'm just smiling at him. The emotion captured in that photo was so raw and very special to me!

What is your favorite story behind an image in your book?
Oh man, well I am NOT a crier but I boo-hooed all the way down the aisle! There is a picture of me right before I reached Field - I was sobbing and looking over at my bridesmaids (I mouthed 'love y'all' to them); my Dad is looking at me, Field's mom is looking at Field with a big smile. You can feel the weight of the moment about to happen wrapped up in all of the emotion on our faces!

What is your favorite story behind an image in your book?
Oh man, well I am NOT a crier but I boo-hooed all the way down the aisle!
